Rodrigo Séllos is a director, editor, producer and scriptwriter,
founder of Caos e Cinema, a production company based in Rio de Janeiro.
Over the last 13 years Séllos worked on feature and short films, TV shows for broadcast channels in Brazil,
music videos, webseries and institutional videos.
In 2020 he won the prize for Best Film at the 53rd Brasília Film Festival, the most important festival in Brazil, with the feature documentary "Searching for Makunaíma''. The film was also part of the official selection of the Festival de Cine de La Habana (Cuba) in 2021.
Among his latest work in TV as a director we can highlight "Por um Respiro" and "Happy Hour with Mariana Ximenes", shown on the Brazilian streaming service Globo Play and GNT.
His latest short documentary “You don't know me" was awarded Best Short Film in Rio Int’l Film Festival,
and Jury's Special Mention in the 21st Málaga Film Festival.
Rodrigo is currently developing his first fictional feature film called “Macuxi”,
which has won Brazilian state funding for its development.
